It seems so homey and warm to the eyes. Nonetheless, I suppose it will also be a great option to paint floors especially when you want something new. Just have the right colors and designs. Thank you so much for this post.flooring Honoluluhttp://www.pacificfloorcovering.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937037121718584267.post-12392799317501155982012-04-15T16:34:06.352-06:002012-04-15T16:34:06.352-06:00I am renovating an 1890's house with original ...I am renovating an 1890's house with original wide plank floors upstairs and "newer" narrower boards downstairs. The ones downstairs are in terffic shape but upstairs these floors have been painted twice and then 2 layers of flooring were on top. We stripped everything and will be painting the floors a deep slate color. I am a big fan of painting old floors. These are in pretty rough shape(all booards intact just a lot of nail holes and scuffs) so I do not suggest painting new floors. But this is a great way to give old floors a little life! Plus it is a rental home, so it is cheaper then replacing carpet every couple of years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
